Return & Defective Item Policy | Ruby’s Craft Creations

At Ruby’s Craft Creations, every product is custom-made to order.
Because of the personalized nature of our items, the following Return & Defective Item Policy applies to all purchases made through our website, social media shops, craft shows, or direct invoices.

Custom & Personalized Orders – Final Sale

All custom, made-to-order, and personalized items are final sale.

Ruby’s Craft Creations does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:

Customer spelling, wording, or personalization errors
Incorrect, cropped, or low-resolution photo uploads
Design selections or approvals confirmed by the purchaser
Color or appearance differences caused by screen or device settings

These situations do not qualify as defects, since the item was produced exactly as requested during checkout or approval.

Defective Items or RCC Production Errors Only

Returns or replacements are only considered when:

The item arrives physically damaged, or
A clear production mistake was made by Ruby’s Craft Creations
(example: wrong item produced compared to approved order details).

No other returns are accepted on any custom order.

24-Hour Defect Notification Requirement

To request review of a defective or incorrect item:

Customers must contact RCC within 24 hours of confirmed delivery.
The notification must include:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photo proof of the damaged or incorrect item, including packaging

Failure to provide photo documentation within 24 hours may result in denial of the request.

Shipping, Tracking & USPS Claims

Most orders ship using USPS with tracking and delivery confirmation.

When shipped via:

USPS Ground Advantage
USPS Priority Mail

Any damage, loss, or delivery issue must be processed through USPS, as these services include carrier protection and claim coverage.

Ruby’s Craft Creations will provide reasonable documentation assistance, but:

Final claim decisions are determined by USPS, not RCC.

Standard Stamp Mail (No Tracking)

Some small, low-cost items (such as select stickers or bookmarks) may ship via:

Standard stamped mail without tracking.

When this shipping method is used:

Delivery cannot be guaranteed or verified
RCC is not responsible for postal delays, loss, or mis-delivery

Resolution for Verified Defects

If Ruby’s Craft Creations confirms a true defect or production error, RCC will, at its sole discretion:

Replace the item
Issue a refund
Provide shop credit equal to the purchase price of the affected item
